Outreach
CrossPointe Community Church exists to lead people to love God and love others. We believe those are people here locally, but also nationally and internationally. We believe Scripture is clear that the Church is God's instrument for taking the Gospel to the world! We want to be known as a people that go across the street AND around the world! These beliefs drive our missions strategy.
We have adopted mission efforts locally, nationally and internationally. We believe our mission efforts are not simply sending money, but fully embracing and being involved in what God is doing in and through a particular work. Locally, we regularly partner with the Lake Cities area to help provide community enrichment activities, food for local shelters, as well as, participating in local holiday celebrations. We are in the Lake Cities area, for the Lake Cities area. We believe the church should be an active part of the city God calls them to, and we take this seriously.
In addition, we are actively engaging the country of Zambia to help provide relief for orphans who have been effected by the HIV/AIDS crisis; as well as, currently exploring church planting opportunities in and around Lusaka, Zambia. CrossPointe has also begun exploring options for serving in Peru.
We believe the local church is the hope of the world. For this reason, we are deeply committed to church planting. We are a young church but have been involved in planting new works since day 1, giving 10% of all tithes and offerings to help churches get started. We invest in planting churches, start new plants out of CrossPointe, and actively coach young pastors as they begin their new works.
